Nov 08 Sun 13.52 2:40:36 0:11:53 Monterey Bay "Big Sur" Half-Marathon (our 1 year wedding Anniversary race): I ran this with No distance training at all for this race.  We were lucky to have our race bibs signed and get a picture with Olympian Kara Goucher :) I forgot both my running shoes! Plus I forgot my phone case arm brace, thus I ran in my kicks Nike International and held my phone the entire race. Going into mile 8 legs was breaking down, fatigue and foot pain set in, ended up with a pretty knarly blister on left front foot. Legs and body didnt heal until Wednesday. No training, no running really leading up to the race. FInished and ate alot!!! Had a beautiful time with Emil in Monterey. I love you my sweetheart. 13.52 13.5 2:40:36
